Bajaj Consumer was for long a 1 product company which had high penetration levels which led to market not giving it valuation premium & it's sales growth being dismal for the last 10 year. Now they have diversified in other products in skin care, shampoos, conditioners & coconut oil. In FMCG it takes lot of time & money to establish a Brand. They are doing 14-15% ad spends. Is it fair to say you are banking on these new products to drive sales going forward & hence the stock doing well. Thanks.
Hi - Nowadays in the following places like apollo pharmacy,Medplus ,Aster dm pharma , Reliance retail , dmart , vishal , Ratnadeep , value mart super markets and many more have their own brands and discounts and i find many buying products such as coconut oil to shampoos , chawanprash to floor cleaning liquids . competetion is severe . Leave alone online brands ………
