Sajal Sir, you are in comptition with yourself. Conent dept keep increasing and giving lot of insight. I do not think we ever get such a deep insight/peer analysis/ intangible terminal value analysis from brokerage reports :)
Sajal Sir, Wonderful 2-part series on Laurus Labs! Not just from a thesis-building pov but also from a framework-building pov. Many thanks!
Question on the possibility of Laurus Bio being a separate entity or for that matter any demerger in a business with science as a service:
Do you think it is necessarily good for the "whole," considering the whole is definitely greater than the sum of the parts, do you think an instance such as a demerger would be good for the minority shareholders?
After all, Dr. Chava and Mr. Ravi's bandwidth would get split (Although one may argue that the focus per BU would be higher as BU heads would be instilled in case of a demerger). We may also lose the synergy amongst the employees getting a chance to exchange notes on their learnings b/w say, a CDMO function and Bio function.
What are your thoughts?
P.S. Apologies, I had added this comment in the original video - copied from there due to it being taken down.
Having access to you knowledge base and Book is one of the biggest asymmetric payoff that a 23 year old like me can have. The parenting that one needs during initial stages of a very long journey as a Investor in terms of research and due diligence, Mental models you have provided us with that parenting. Thank you sir. Really great full

I think it’s too early to contemplate separating Bio. Maybe a 2028-2030 review decision for team Laurus. They know better.
